CouthActs for AI agents

Let your AI assistant move things. Inside limits you set.

CouthActs gives AI agents a safe way to quote, book, pay for and track transport across 18 modes, with verified providers, escrow, spending limits, your approval for big decisions, and proof of what happened.

How it works

Four steps. You stay in charge.

  1. 01

    Connect

Add CouthActs to your assistant as a custom connector, or give your software an agent key.

  2. 02

    Set the limits

Choose what it may do, the most it can spend per job and per month, and when it must ask you.

  3. 03

    Let it work

It gets quotes, posts the job, compares verified providers' bids and books the best fit.

  4. 04

    Get proof

Payment sits in escrow until delivery, and every step is recorded in a signed chain of custody.

For people and businesses

Delegate the errand, not the risk.

An AI agent can't be licensed, insured or held to account. CouthActs can. Your assistant does the legwork; the money, verification and dispute handling stay with an accountable company, and every rule is enforced on our side, not left to the model.

Permissions

Pick exactly which tools a connection can use. Read-only is a valid choice.

Per-job and monthly limits

A job or bid over the per-job limit is refused. New jobs can't exceed the monthly cap.

Approval threshold

Above it, the request waits in your notifications for you to approve or reject.

Revocable, expiring keys

Revoke a connection instantly, or set it to expire. Secrets are stored only as hashes.

Full activity log

Every call your agent makes is recorded with its inputs, cost and outcome.

Same protection as you

Identity-verified providers, escrow-held payment and human dispute resolution.

Proof your agent can hand to anyone

Every booking builds a hash-chained, Ed25519-signed chain of custody. Agents can fetch the certificate and anyone can check it against our public keys, without trusting our database.

Verify a certificate

Check providers before booking

Each provider's signed credential states whether their identity is verified and summarises their record: completed jobs, on-time and completion rates, and disputes. Agents can verify it in one call.

Our public signing keys

For developers

One toolset, three ways in.

  • Custom connectors (Claude.ai, ChatGPT and others). Add the MCP URL; you'll be sent to a CouthActs consent screen to approve access and set spending limits.
  • MCP with an agent key. Streamable HTTP at /api/mcp, with Authorization: Bearer ca_agent_…. Create keys in Settings → AI agents.
  • REST. POST /api/agent/v1/tools/{tool}, described by an OpenAPI 3.1 document. Calls above the approval threshold return 202 pending_approval.

Questions

Which assistants work with CouthActs?

Claude.ai, ChatGPT and other assistants that support custom connectors can add our MCP server URL. They'll send you to a CouthActs consent screen to approve access and set spending limits. Any other MCP client, or your own code, can use an agent key as a bearer token.

Can my agent spend more than I allow?

No. Limits are enforced on our servers for every call, whichever channel it comes from. Over-limit requests are refused, and requests above your approval threshold wait for you.

What if my agent posts the wrong job?

It can cancel a job that hasn't been booked; the held budget returns to your wallet, though posting and protection fees are kept. Once booked, the normal CouthActs cancellation and dispute rules apply.

Where does the money come from?

Your CouthActs wallet. Agents can't add payment methods or withdraw money; they can only commit funds to escrow for jobs, within your limits.

Can an agent check a provider before booking?

Yes. Every provider has a signed credential with their identity verification and track record, which agents can fetch and verify.
