We may disclose information voluntarily under 18 U.S.C. § 2702(b)(8) and (c)(4) where we believe in good faith that the emergency exists.
7. User Notice
Our policy is to notify users of requests for their data before disclosure, so they can seek legal remedies, unless we are prohibited by law or court order, the request involves an emergency, or notice would be counterproductive (for example, where the account has been compromised or is being used to harm others). We may give notice after a non-disclosure period ends.
8. Costs
We may seek reimbursement of costs reasonably incurred in responding to requests, as permitted by law, including under 18 U.S.C. § 2706.
