- What you need first

- Time needed
- About 10 minutes
Steps
Step 1: Open AI agents settings and go to Connect your AI assistant.
Step 2: For an MCP client, copy the MCP client config shown with your new key, or send the key as a bearer token to the MCP server URL.
Step 3: For HTTPS, select Copy OpenAPI URL and load the OpenAPI document.
Step 4: Read the API docs for every endpoint, error code and example.
Step 5: Start with read-only tools, such as listing transport modes, before posting jobs.
What happens next
Every call is logged in your agent activity and stays within the key's limits.
Common problems and fixes
A call returns pending_approval.
It's above your approval threshold and waits for you in CouthActs. Don't retry it; approve it instead.
