How refunds work
When money comes back to you, when it doesn't, and where to find it.

Steps
Step 1: Open your wallet and look at Transaction History.
Step 2: Find refunds by their description, such as a returned budget or an escrow refund.
Step 3: Select Download receipt on a line for a receipt.
What happens next
Refunds go to your CouthActs wallet, not your card. A job that expires or is cancelled before it's booked, or a booking cancelled before it starts, is refunded in full. When you accept a bid lower than your budget, the difference comes back straight away. Posting and protection fees aren't refunded.
Common problems and fixes
The job started and went wrong.
A started job can't be cancelled. Open a dispute; CouthActs decides whether the held amount is refunded, released or split.
Can I get my wallet money back to my card?
Unused top-up funds can be refunded when you close your account. See Delete your account.
